Bio

Duba makes music shaped and inspired by the gloom of the pacific northwest. Taking the lead of Seattle greats from Jimi Hendrix to Soundgarden, Duba borrows from the past while pursuing the next sound to excite listeners. His first string of releases are centered around the collective anxieties of people living in a time of war and climate crisis.

The New World reflects a feeling that planning for the future seems pointless. That no matter what we do the world will literally burn down around us, and yet we still yearn and hope. This song is a reminder that even if what you seek might not come to pass, simply seeking it is powerful and necessary.
